about

This album is a lot like both "Relativity" and "Things Left Unsaid" in its own ways. It's like the former because a good amount of it is built off of sampling, and it's a lot like the latter because it's a collection of things I've written over the past two years.

Glass is actually named very specifically. After "Things Left Unsaid" there was a very long time where I didn't really produce music, mostly because it coincided with some pretty bad stuff happening in my life at the time, and when I finally came back to making music, everything I made was something I didn't like for some reason or another. It was either too simple, too quiet, too niche, any kind of criticism you can think of.

I wrote "Glass", the title track, because I wanted to write something, I just didn't know what, and I named it "Glass" because I finally felt like I had shattered the wall in front of me. The entire point of this album, to me personally, is about getting past the barrier of "What if no one else thinks its good?", because honestly, I don't really know if this could be considered a good EP or not. There are probably some things that I missed, and some things I'll eventually grow to dislike, but the important part of this album to me personally is that I got it out there. I made something that I, at the time, wanted to hear, and that's why this album is important to me.

This album is a lot more ambient than my previous works. Two songs in particular are essentially nothing but layers of ambience on top of each other. I worked really hard on this album, and even if it sucks for whatever reason, I learned a lot in the making of this album that I think it was absolutely worth it.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for listening :)
